Gages Lake Treatment Notice

The Gages Lake Conservation Committee and Wildwood Park District have been made aware of new non-native growth of Eurasian Watermilfoil found in Gages Lake. To help protect the health of the lake and maintain safe recreation, TIGRIS and SePRO agreed that it would be best to bump the Sonar AS concentration one more time. This should help get the new growth under control and provide stronger suppression going into 2026.

TIGRIS will be applying a 4 ppb Sonar bump treatment on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Following the application, there will be an irrigation restriction in place, likely for the full month of September or until fasTEST results confirm concentrations are back in the low 3’s. TIGRIS will be collecting fasTEST samples two weeks after the treatment.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep Gages Lake healthy and enjoyable for our community!
