Your volunteer work is essential to our organization and helping fulfill our vision, and we value your time and commitment, and know the community values it as well.

Volunteer Opportunities

Wildwood Park District offers many types of volunteer opportunities to meet the interests and needs of everyone, ages 14+. Volunteers assist full-time staff, part-time staff, and other volunteers in the implementation and execution of:

  • Special Events
  • Park District Programs
  • Lake, Neighborhood, and Park Cleanup and Maintenance
  • Clerical Services

 

Open Volunteer Positions

Intro to T-Ball, Adult Lead Volunteer- prior baseball or t-ball experience required

  • Program Description: Our T-Ball program provides boys and girls with the opportunity to learn fundamentals of America’s past time in a fun and relaxed environment. Children will utilize tees and soft rubber balls for play. Rules of the game and instructions will be emphasized. First week will be basic instruction, then children will be split into teams and games will begin on week two. The program will meet at Willow Point Park twice a week for four weeks.

    • Location: Willow Point Park
    • Age: 4-6 years
    • Mix/Max: 6/20
    • Dates: Mondays/Wednesdays 6/6-6/29
    • Time: 5:30 – 6:20pm
