Pavilion and Room Rentals

Location: Rule House - 33325 N. Sears Blvd., Wildwood, IL 60030

Maximum Capacity: 15 people

Fee: $25 per hour

Deposit: Refundable $50

Included in Rental: Room space, tables and chairs, indoor restrooms, and refrigerator.

Parking: Parking at Rule House is free and vehicles do not need parking stickers. However, parking is limited, and we encourage carpooling, walking, or biking if possible.

Parking: 5 free parking passes are included with your rental, and up to an additional 3 may be purchased for $2 per parking pass. Every non-resident vehicle must have a temporary parking pass displayed in the windshield. Parking is first-come first-serve and still open to the public during pavilion rentals. A parking pass issued by the Park District does not guarantee you a parking spot.

Maximum Capacity: 75 people

Fee: $75 per day

Yes, pavilion and room rentals are available to Wildwood Park District residents only. Rental applicants must be a Wildwood resident and the renter (the specific person listed on the rental application) is required to be present for the entire length of the event.

Room Rentals: rooms are available to rent seven (7) days a week between the hours of 10am-6pm (including setup and cleanup), and must not last more than a maximum of five (5) hours total. Please note: room availability is dependent upon Wildwood Park District programs and events.

Pavilion Rentals: pavilions are available to rent seven (7) days a week between dusk and dawn.

Pavilion Rentals Include:

• Pavilion space.
• Picnic benches within the pavilion.
• Grill located immediately adjacent to the pavilion.
• Recreation equipment upon request (bags toss game, wiffle ball and bat, set of bases, volleyball, frisbee, kickball, and scoop and toss).

While pavilion renters are welcome to use the below amenities during their rental time, pavilion rentals do not include the exclusive or private use of the following, as they are still open for use to other rentals, residents and/or Wildwood Park District programs and events:

• Backstops/Baseball fields.
• Beaches.
• Bike racks.
• Boat ramps.
• Grassy areas and greenspaces.
• Grills beyond the one located immediately adjacent to the pavilion.
• Parking lots.
• Playground equipment and swings.
• Picnic tables and/or sitting benches outside of the pavilion.
• Piers.
• Port-O-Potties.
• Soccer fields.
• Volleyball court.
• Walking paths.

Room Rentals Include:

• Room space.
• Tables and chairs.
• Indoor restrooms.
• Refrigerator.
• Dry erase board (Oak Room only).
• Wall mounted T.V. (Oak Room only).

Room Rentals Do Not Include:

• Accompanying restrooms.
• Additional rooms or areas outside of the designated rental space on the approved application, including but not limited to:
  • Conference room.
  • Office space(s).
  • Other rental room.
  • Preschool room.

While room renters are welcome to use the below amenities during their rental time, room rentals do not include the exclusive or private use of the following, as they are still open for use to other rentals, residents and/or Wildwood Park District programs and events:

    • Gaga pit.
    • Grassy areas and greenspaces.

Parking passes will be ready for pickup on Thursday or Friday prior to rental.

No, alcohol consumption, illegal drugs, smoking, and gambling is strictly prohibited in all of the Wildwood Park District parks and facilities.

Room Rentals: Tables and chairs (eight 59" X 30" tables, ten 72" X 18" tables, and chairs (55)) are included with your room rental and will be set up prior to your rental by Wildwood Park District staff. Tables and chairs can be set up in a variety of configurations, including banquet, classroom, conference, and theatre style. You will be asked to select a set-up style on the rental application.

Pavilion Rentals: Picnic tables with built-in bench-style seating are included in your pavilion rental and will already be in the pavilion. Renters are responsible for bringing any additional seatings or tables beyond the provided picnic tables.

Should you need to cancel your event, the Wildwood Park District requires notice no later than 5 days prior to the scheduled rental date to receive a refund of the full deposit and rental fee, minus a cancellation fee of $10. Should you cancel less than 5 days prior to the event, only the full deposit and 50% of the rental fee will be refunded.

Rain policy applies to pavilion rentals only. If it is raining or there is inclement weather on the day of your rental, please contact the Park District office the following business day to receive a refund.
