GLCC Carp Fishing Derby

The Carp Fishing Derby is sponsored by Gages Lake Conservation Committee and Gagewood Lions Club in cooperation with Wildwood Park District. An Illinois Fishing License is required.
Registration will take place at the Willow Point Park Pavilion. Some fishing poles will be available for use or you may bring your own. Basic fishing instruction will be provided for beginners. All ages are welcome, but children must be supervised by an adult. Prizes will be awarded for each age group.
Please arrive 30 minutes early at 8:30am to receive instruction for baiting your hook and other fishing tips and tricks from members of the Gages Lake Conservation Committee and Lion’s Club!
