Gages Lake Ice Fishing Derby and Winter Fun

Join us for the second annual Gages Lake Ice Fishing Derby and Winter Fun Event! Drop your line for a chance to win prizes for the biggest fish (total length) in two age groups: 15 & under and 16 & older. Not fishing? No problem! From 11am-1pm, enjoy free winter fun including ice and snow painting, ice skating (at your own risk), ice darts, lawn games, and a bonfire with hot cocoa and s’mores provided by the Wildwood Park District. Don’t forget to enter the 50/50 raffle – proceeds benefit the Gages Lake Conservation Committee for fish stocking (do not need to be registered or present to win!).
Free Activities: 11am -1pm Snow and ice painting, ice darts, bonfire with s’mores, hot cocoa, and ice skating.
Ice Fishing Derby: 8am-3pm. Check in 8am. Hand warmers, hot chocolate, s’mores. Must have valid Illinois fishing license if 16+.
50/50 Raffle: proceeds benefit the Gages Lake Conservation Committee for fish stocking (do not need to be registered or present to win!).
