Receives Annual Illinois Parks and Recreation Association
Community Service Award
At the Annual
IPRA/IAPD State Conference, Wildwood Park District
resident, Rob Flood was honored for his outstanding
commitment and support to the field of parks and
recreation. Rob has been a member of the Gages Lake
Conservation Committee for many years. Most of those years
have been spent as President of the organization. He has
successfully led the group in projects, which include fish
stocking, weed control, habitat development, community
awareness projects, annual carp derby just to name a few.
In its nomination of Rob, the Wildwood Park District noted
his genuine overwhelming dedication to preserving natural
resources in the community. The board of commissioners
extends their thanks for all Rob has done over the years.
