Recreational opportunities abound at the Wildwood Park District!

The Wildwood Park District, located in northern Lake County, Illinois, offers residents of it's district a multitude of recreational opportunities.  Situated along Gages Lake, the district's amenities include parks, beaches, playgrounds, ball fields, a community center, picnic pavilion, and more.  A total of 11 parks are located throughout the district.  Additionally, the district maintains three beaches along the shore of Gages Lake and one beach along the shore of Valley Lake.  The district also offers a wide variety of recreational programs for all ages including arts & crafts, self-defense, gymnastics, dance, golf, Shotokan karate, basket-weaving, cooking, tennis, horseback riding, piano and more.

 

Spring/Summer 2008 program information is being collected at this time.  The brochure will not be available until approximately mid-March but you may view course offerings online between now and then.  If you do not see the programs you are looking for, keep checking back because new ones will be added each day!  Simply visit the "Registration" portion of this site and click the On-line Registration link for information.  Registration may be completed on-line, by mail, by fax and by phone.  Please contact Candace at the park district office if you have any questions.

Only the residents of the Wildwood Park District are eligible for "Resident" rates and usage of parks.  All others are subject to additional fees.  If you are unsure if you qualify as a "Resident", please contact the District office.
